sobre o (direito ao) egoísmo dos génios (ainda...) e de como eles - os génios - escasseiam (agora...)

As Charles Jenks has pointed out, one senses in Le Corbusier, as in towering Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci, the terrible isolation of a human being who as no recourse to religion. Egoism enables the great artist to bear this deep isolation; he is subject to both self-flagellation and self-aggrandizement. Apollo and Medusa both come to be a part of his character, and his heroism is ultimately tinged with pathos.
