French Omelet

I like the unlabored thing, that looks as inevitable as something that comes out of a frying pan just right, like an omelet in France, for instance.

William Wurster, citado por Richard C. Peters e Caitlin King Lempers, no ensaio An Architectural, Life, publicado em "an everyday modernism, the houses of William Wurster"

Architecture critic, Allan Temko recalls a mid-1950 lecture at the University of California at Berkley in which Wright opened his speech - after having been introduced by Wurster, who was by then dean of the School of Architecture - with the incendiary statement: "Three words describe what is wrong with Bay Area architecture: William Wilson Wurster." Wurster fumed in silence.

Um "senhor" este WWW...

Ah, e quem também assinou umas coisas muito pouco elaboradas, mas mais a dar ares (e sabores) de papas de serrabulho à moda de valhelhas... quem foi, quem foi?...
